President Bush Renews His Support of Temporary Legal Status for Millions of Illegal Aliens

President Bush, through Secretary of State Colin Powell who was visiting Mexican President Fox in Mexico, reaffirmed his support of legislation that would confer temporary worker cards to millions of illegal aliens. There is no clear idea of when such legislation may be passed. Many believe that it could be as early as next year. However, and based upon previous reports, there is no way to discern when this legislation may actually be initiated, and there could be significant delays in this regard.
