FY07 Advanced Degree Quota Has Been Reached

USCIS has announced that it had received enough H-1B petitions to complete the 2007 cap as of July 26, 2006. Petitions received on that date will be subject to a computer-based random selection process to assign all remaining numbers.

The ability to file under the regular and advanced degree caps will commence again on April 1, 2007.
