FY 07 H-1B Cap Has Been Completed

USCIS announced today, that as of May 26, USCIS had received enough cases to complete the FY07 cap. For cases received on or about the day the cap is reached, USCIS is deploying a lottery system to randomly select cases for inclusion thereunder. We will be in touch regarding how USCIS will handle cases received thereafter in the next day or two. Slots under the the FY07 advanced degree cap still exist.

At this point, we can only wait for receipt notices and cases that are returned to us before we know which ones actually made it in. We will be contacting our clients to take an inventory in the coming days.
