H-1B Usage Statistics

USCIS has indicated that as of April 28, 2006:

- 16,737 cases had been counted against the 58,200 H-1B cap.
- 2,884 had been counted against the advanced degree quota of 20,000.
- 179 cases have been counted againt the cap of 6800 for professionals from Chili and Singapore.
