V-2 and V-3 Visa Holders Will No Longer Age Out
USCIS has announced that individuals with valid V-2 and V-3 visa status will not age-out of the same status even if they are over 21 years of age, and can apply for extensions of stay until the permanent resident application has been adjudicated, or the law expires.
The V visa allows spouses and children of permament residents to enter and remain in the US in those cases where the the subject immigrant petition (I-130) or other application for permanent resident status has been pending for at least 3 years, and was filed on or before December 21, 2000.
