New E-3 Visa Allows up to 10,500 Australians to Work in Specialty Occupations

The new E-3 Visa, has provided up to 10,500 visas for those Australians who have job offers in speciality occupation. The visa is similar to the H-1B classification, in that the position must requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent to work therein, and an approved labor condition application. The E visa would be a status more preferred than the H-1B, because extension can be had without a time limitation, and spouses of E-3 visa holders can obtain work authorizations.
